Faculty Advisors for current Biomedical and General Engineering Students.
The Engineering Advising Center (new window) - The central resource for advising information for engineering students. If you can't find something on the BMED/GENE website, check the advising center!
The Cal Poly Portal (new window) has an Advising tab which lists a large list of advising and related resources.
Student Orientation, Advising & Resources (SOAR) is a one-day summer academic advising session that helps new students and their families learn how to navigate the Cal Poly environment. Each academic college invites their students to participate in SOAR to get connected to information specific to the new student's major and to prepare them to register for their first quarter of classes. Families will learn about resources available to them and their students and what to expect for the rest of their time with Cal Poly. For more information please visit the new SOAR website. As always, you can get to SOAR, or any other orientation program from the Orientation Programs main page or by calling 805.756.2233.
